sodium butyrate combining bile acid for poultry
Exogenous bile acids play roles in activating lipase, emulsifying fat to form Micelles, and transporting fatty acids to make chylomicron approach intestinal mucosa in duodenum, it can improve the absorption of fat and liposoluble substance without Endogenous bile acids, so that animals with damaged liver or underdeveloped young animals could grow up. Beside above-mentioned functions, crustacean shellfish such as shrimps and crabs also use bile acids as precursor of ecdysone to promote growth. Butyrate has a great auxiliary and synergy function on the above functions! Monoglycerides serve as skeleton and promoting formation of Micelles of small intestine.

Table 1 is from Zhihong Sun etc. (Molecular nutrition and feed science laboratory, Southwest University), after fattening pigs were fed with DING SU, the back fat thickness of Group DING SU decreased by 3.5%, and its eye muscle area increased by 31.1%, it indicated that DING SU can reduce subcutaneous fat, and improve meat quality.
