Product Description
Anti Bacteria Coated Sodium Butyrate 70% Slow Release For Swine
Short Chain Fatty Acid Feed Additive Coated Sodium Butyrate Plus Calcium Butyrate 70% for Swine and Poultry
Advantages of Coated Butyrate
Unprotected butyrate is directly absorbed in the first part of the digestive tract before reaching the large intestine. DING SU 70C features micro-encapsulation of butyrate using palm stearin, resulting in slow and targeted release throughout the entire digestive tract. This increases the mode of action, scope of activities at various gut levels, and effectiveness per unit of active ingredient. The specialized coating also reduces the typical unpleasant smell of butyrate.
Product Specifications
Ingredient: Sodium butyrate, calcium butyrate carrier: Palm stearin
Concentration: 70% Minimum
Description: White to off-white beadlet with good flowability. Free from typical butyric rancid odour. Non-hygroscopic. Insoluble in water.
Main Properties of Sodium Butyrate
- Growth Promotion: Butyric acid serves as an important energy source for intestinal epithelial cells, improving growth, recovery, and differentiation of intestinal villi. Increased villi length (up to 30%) leads to greater absorption surface area and feed intake increases up to 10%.
- Strong Antibacterial Effect: Butyric acid enters microbial cells in undissociated form. Within the cell, it releases protons in an alkaline environment, decreasing intracellular pH. This pH reduction affects microbial metabolism, forcing microbial cells to expend energy excreting protons, ultimately leading to cell death.
