Slow Release 80% Coated Calcium Butyrate and Sodium Butyrate for Layers, Swine, Poultry, and Aquaculture Feed
Slow-Release Short-Chain Fatty Acid Feed Additive: Coated Calcium Butyrate & Sodium Butyrate 80% for Swine, Poultry, and Aquaculture
Advantages of Coating Butyrate in Animal Feed
Uncoated butyrate is rapidly absorbed in the upper digestive tract, often before reaching the large intestine. To enhance its effectiveness and ensure optimal delivery, CAL SU 30 utilizes micro-encapsulation of butyrate using palm stearin. This coating technology enables the slow and targeted release of butyrate throughout the entire digestive system. By extending the release time, the active ingredient's benefits are maximized across various sections of the gut, resulting in improved efficacy. Additionally, the coating significantly reduces the unpleasant odor commonly associated with unprotected butyrate.
Key Ingredients:
Calcium Butyrate (minimum 65%)
Sodium Butyrate (minimum 15%)
Carrier: Palm Stearin
Molecular Formula: C8H14O4Ca
Molecular Weight: 214
Product Description:
White to off-white beadlets with excellent flowability
Free from the typical rancid butyric odor
Non-hygroscopic and insoluble in water
Growth Promotion:
Butyric acid is a crucial energy source for intestinal epithelial cells. It promotes the growth, recovery, and differentiation of intestinal villi. The increased length of villi leads to a larger surface area for nutrient absorption, improving overall growth and feed efficiency. Villi length can increase by up to 30%, and feed intake can rise by up to 10%.
Strong Antibacterial Effects:
Butyric acid enters microbial cells in an undissociated form. In an alkaline environment, it releases protons, which lowers the intracellular pH. This decrease in pH disrupts microbial metabolism, causing the microbial cells to expend energy in an attempt to expel protons. Ultimately, this leads to cell death, providing strong antibacterial action in the gut.
