2 Experimental design

2.1 test period: 20220416(start)-20220430 (weigh)-20220515(end)

2.2 Experimental field:Singao experimental farm

2.3 experimental animal and grouping 56 healthy and same breed nursery pigs with similar weight and days of age (80 day-old) were selected and allocated into 4 groups with 40 replicates, each replicate containing one pig. Sows were fed with basal diet (table 1) for 30 days.

3 Feeding and management: The feeding and management and vaccine immunity of the experimental group were carried out according to the regulations of the farm. At the beginning of the experiment, the pigs were weighed in term of pen as the initial weight, and the pigs were weighed in term of pen as the final weight when the pigs are slaughtered. After 15 days of the experiment, each pen was weighed once, and the skin color score was made once. The feed intake of each pen was recorded in term of pen every day, and the diarrhea score was also made every day. If any test pigs died, the dead pigs were weighed immediately, and the total feed intake was calculated and recorded. At the end of the experiment, total feed intake, total weight gain, average daily gain, FCR, diarrhea rate and skin color score were calculated.

From above-mentioned weigh graph, there is no significant difference in body weight among all groups, weight of experiment group 1 overtook in the later period of the experiment, it was higher than that of control group, experiment group 2 and experiment group 3.

5 Test analysis and summary
5.1
growth performance
From the growth performance of day 0-15s, it can be concluded that ADG of experimental group 1 (1 kg/t DING SU 90 ) was the highest, it was12.85%, 35.38% and 15.79% higher than that of the basal group, experimental group 2 (3 kg/t 30% coated sodium butyrate) and experimental group 3 (1 kg/ T 30% coated sodium butyrate) respectively, , and reached a significant level. Experimental group 1 (1 kg/t DING SU 90 group) was the best in feed intake and FCT. These results indicated that 1 kg/t DING SU 90 was superior to 3 kg/t 30% coated sodium butyrate containing the same amount of sodium butyrate in the growth promotion at the early stage of nursery period, which could achieve 1:3 substitution. The growth promotion of 30% coated sodium butyrate was dose-dependent, and the effect of 3 kg/t was better than that of 1 kg/t.

From the growth performance of day15-30, the ADG of Control group was the highest, followed by experimental group 3 (1 kg/ T 30% sodium butyrate) and experimental group 2 (3 kg/t 30% sodium butyrate). It is speculated that the utilization efficiency of coated sodium butyrate is improved with the growth of piglets. However, the overall level is not significant.

However, from the growth performance of the whole experiment (0-30 d), the ADG of experimental group 1 (1 kg/t DING SU 90) was the highest. It was 1.27%, 15.94% and 3.90% higher than the conrtol group, experimental group 2 (3 kg/t 30% coated sodium butyrate) and experimental group 3 (1 kg/ t 30% coated sodium butyrate) respectively. There were no significant differences in feed intake and FCR among the groups. There was no significant difference in ADG among the groups.

5.2 Conclusion At the early stage of nursery period, 1kg/t DING SU 90 can replace 3 kg/t 30% coated sodium butyrate, and has a better effect on growth promotion.
